HERWE® ADDITIVES – specialist for oleochemical additives with subsidiaries in the EU and the USA is continuously expanding its Ethylene-bis-stearamide portfolio [EBS = N,N’-ethylene-bis-stearamide, CAS no. 110-30-5]. In order to meet all customer requirements, we now offer 5 different types under the HERWEMAG AWV brand:

- HERWEMAG AWV-G2 – microbeads
- HERWEMAG AWV-N3 – strand granules
- HERWEMAG AWV-PT3 – pastilles (available soon)

EBS belongs to the class of (secondary) fatty acid amides. It is a highly functional additive that is widely applicable due to its thermal stability, lubricity, surface activity and compatibility with numerous polymers. Thanks to its versatile chemical and physical properties, it helps to improve process stability, product properties, aesthetics and service life in many branches of industry. It remains environmentally compatible and non-toxic.
